Connect scheduler

TaxDome supports the popular schedulers Calendly, Acuity, Youcanbookme, and Schedulista. You’ll need to have an account with one of these platforms in order to set up a scheduler on TaxDome.

A scheduler can be connected only by a firm owner or admin

Once you’ve registered with one, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > Integrations from the left menu bar, open the Scheduler tab, then select your scheduler service.

2. Paste the link to your scheduler profile page or to the booking page depending on the one you've chosen (see details below).

tip

Note! Your link must start with https:// in order for it to work properly.

3. Click Save. Your clients will now see Book appointment on the Home page of their portal.

This works for the TaxDome Client Portal app as well.
tip

Tip! If you want to automate booking appointments for your clients, you can add automation to the pipeline to send the booking link via their preferred communication method (chat message or email).

Get booking link

Calendly

Once you’ve registered with Calendly, you’ll see three meetings with different durations in the Event Types tab. If you want your clients to be able to select from those options, copy the link above the three types of meetings, then paste it to TaxDome.

This is now what the client will see once they click Book Appointment on their portal:

If you don’t want your clients to select from these options, provide the link of only one of the three meeting types instead. For example, allow them to book only a 60-minute meeting by copying that meeting’s link, then pasting it to TaxDome.

This is what the client will now see once they click Book Appointment on their portal:

Acuity

Once you’ve registered with Acuity and have customized your scheduling page, navigate to the APPOINTMENTS section on the left, click Scheduling Page Link, copy the link beneath General Scheduling Page, then paste it to TaxDome. The general scheduling page shows all public appointment types, so your clients can select from different options, such as time slots and team members.

This is what the client will now see once they click Book Appointment on their portal:

If you don’t want to provide these options, use an event link instead. For example, allow them to only be able to book a 30-minute meeting by copying that event link, then pasting it to TaxDome. To get the link, go to the Appointment Types section, click Direct Scheduling Link next to the event, then click Copy.

This is what the client will now see once they click Book Appointment on their portal:

Youcanbookme

Once you’ve registered with Youcanbookme, create your booking page. Then copy the page link and paste it to TaxDome.

You can have several booking pages on Youcanbookme, but your clients won’t be able to choose among them since the platform doesn’t provide a generic link for your account. If you want your clients to be able to choose from different options, such as time slots and team members, consider using Calendly instead.

Schedulista

Once you’ve registered with Schedulista, go to Settings, then select Add to your website.

Then, scroll to the Embed your scheduler in a website form and copy the scheduler link. The link will look like this: https://www.schedulista.com/schedule/[company name]

Disconnect scheduler

To disconnect your scheduler and remove the button from the client portal:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations from the left menu bar.
  2. Open the Scheduler tab.
  3. Click Remove.
